Membership Notice
Application for membership shall be submitted in writing, endorsed by a German Club active member.
Ordinary members: Ordinary members are the native nationals of Austria, Germany and Switzerland as well as their spouse, partners and children above 18 years of age.
Extraordinary members: Extraordinary members are the nationals of all other EU Member States as well as their spouse, partners and children above 18 years of age.
Student/lntern members: Short term members can only be the nationals of EU Member States. This type of membership is limited to six months. Students and interns has no admission fee and pay reduced monthly fee of Tk. 18,000 (Eighteen thousand) payable in advance (6 x 3,000) per membership and Top-up your account to purchase food and beverages and pay bills.
Temporary Membership: Short term members can only be the nationals of EU Member States. This type of membership is limited to three months Max. The one-time and non-refundable admission fee is Tk. 15,000.00 (Fifteen thousands taka) per single membership and Tk. 30,000.00 (Thirty thousands taka) per family membership. Monthly fee is Tk. 10,000.00 (Ten thousand taka) and Weekly fee is Tk. 3,000.00 (Three thousand) per single membership and Tk. 18,000.000 (Eighteen thousand taka) and Weekly fee is Tk. 5,000.00 (five thousand) per family membership. Top-up your account to purchase food and beverages and pay bills.
Day membership: This type of membership at € 5.00 (Tk. 700) per day is available to the native nationals of the EU member states for their very short-term visitors to Bangladesh. The day membership cards will be issued in the name of the organisation and can be used by EU nationals only. The day members pay bills using the debit card available for purchase at the counter.
Group membership: Organisations and associations of the EU Member States can apply for group membership for staff members and visitors as well as their spouse, partners and children staying temporarily in Bangladesh.
General Membership: The one-time and non-refundable admission fee is Tk. 30,000.00 (Thirty thousands taka) per single membership and Tk. 50,000.00 (Fifty thousands taka) per family membership. Monthly fee is Tk. 9,500.00 (Nine thousands five hundred taka) per single membership and Tk. 16,000.00 (Sixteen thousand taka) per family membership. In addition to this a non-recurring deposit of Tk. 40,000.00 (Forty thousands taka) per membership is required. This deposit will be refunded after termination of the membership.
Diplomatic Membership: No admission fee. Monthly fee is Tk. 5,000.00 (Five thousands taka) per single membership and Tk. 8,000.00 (Eight thousand taka) per family membership. In addition to this a non-recurring deposit of Tk. 40,000.00 (Forty thousands taka) per membership is required. This deposit will be refunded after termination of the membership.
Decision: The Executive Committee reviews all application and decide on admission by simple majority.
Membership maybe terminated due to non-payment of three months continuous membership fee or other dues. In such case all outstanding bills will be adjusted with refundable deposit.
Termination of membership: The member is obliged to give written notice to the management one month in advance to terminate the membership. If no written notice is given an extra month membership contribution will be charged.
